Sir Graham Kirkham

Sir Graham Kirkham our very own Doncaster born furniture wizard, the man behind DFS, yep, the very sofas you’ve probably napped on during a Sunday movie marathon! Sir Graham started out with a simple but brilliant idea: sell furniture direct from the factory and cut out the middleman. And where did it all begin? In—you guessed it—a small warehouse right here in Doncaster! He turned that humble beginning into DFS—now one of the UK’s biggest furniture retailers. Not bad for a local lad with a few sofas and a whole lot of vision!
