Kevin Keegan

The football superstar “King Kev” was born in Armthorpe in 1951. Kevin Keegan had a successful career as a professional football player and manager. He played for various top flight football clubs, including Liverpool and Newcastle. After his football playing days ended he went on to become a football manager. As well as being recognised as one of the greatest players of his era, King Kev will probably also be long remembered for his poodle perm hair.
