THE AFTERS – An Afternoon of Piano House

The Afters: An Afternoon of Piano House at The Empire Theatre

Sheffield’s own Shak Jackson launches The Afters — a new daytime event dedicated to the uplifting sound of piano house.

Set inside the recently restored Empire Theatre in Rotherham, this debut is more than just an afternoon on the dancefloor — it’s part of the venue’s cultural revival, making The Afters one of the first events to bring music back to its stage.

Running 3pm–8pm (doors 2pm), The Afters captures the growing demand for daytime raves: inclusive, accessible, and packed with energy. It’s a chance to experience hands-in-the-air classics and fresh piano-driven grooves without the late-night chaos.

The lineup features Dan Ambrose (Liverpool), Tom Harvey (Manchester), and Shak herself, curating a soundtrack that bridges old-school vibes with new energy.

Capacity is limited — early booking is strongly advised.
