Dadesley Crafting CIC Exhibition. Award winning craft group in Doncaster.

Dadesley Crafting CIC are an exclusive crafting group based in Doncaster. We are a not for profit community interest company and our aims are to use craft to combat isolation and promote wellbeing in communities. We have been operating for just over eighteen months and have a base in Flourish (https://www.flourishwoodfieldpark.org/) and one day a week at the Parish rooms in Tickhill. We are now open six days a week and have over 80 different crafting workshops. There is something for everyone and all are aimed at the beginner.

Recently we were very proud to be awarded the Creative Lives award for England and we would love you to come along and find out why we were awarded such a prestigious prize!

We have over two hundred members, aged from 18 to 90 and we always welcome new people to join us! We are very proud of the things our members have created and would like to show people what you can achieve with us and how accessible and friendly our workshops are. We are therefore putting on an exhibition on the weekend of the 10th and 11th of June, 2pm-7pm, when we will be showcasing our members' work. There will be a wide range of crafts on show from knitting, crochet, embroidery and sewing to painting, various papercrafts, flower arranging, jewelry making and woodworking projects….. There will be items to buy as well as demonstrations of crafts and some mini workshops on offer for you to have a go yourself.

There is no charge for the exhibition or craft demonstrations and mini workshops and we are based at the beautiful St Catherine’s House (https://www.flourishwoodfieldpark.org/st-catherines-house/) which also has a lovely cafe to treat yourself to a meal or some very good coffee and cake.
