BIG STRONG MAN

The Growth House presents BIG STRONG MAN, an interrogation of northern masculinity and manhood in a brand new cabaret-style night out. Ever wanted to rebuild society in one night out whilst having a laugh and a drink?

This show is a celebration of northern culture and community spirit, with all the remarkable features of a cabaret and gig theatre. The performance flows in and out of storytelling and involves modern audience participation, although you can also just watch it.

The show has been inspired by the need for better mental health awareness amongst young men in Doncaster. It is based on true stories from people around the area. Directed by local theatre maker, Sam Dunstan and produced by a local production company Swans Events.

Come on down to CAST, Doncaster as we ask big questions, celebrate and interrogate with you through karaoke, drinking games, arm-wrestling, lip-syncing and dancing!
