Mixtape Flavaz

Mixtape Flavas is a show that brings together all the floor-fillers from the early 80s to mid 90s club scene. You'll hear soul, jazz, new jack swing, hip hop, house, garage and maybe even electro and breakdance. The right tunes with the perfect beat made it on to mix tapes and the providers of the best compilations were revered and respected. The aim of this show is to celebrate those days - the mixtape culture, where discovering those big tunes and playing them first meant everything to the DJs and the people that heard them.
