Taster Courses

Following the launch of our own radio station Sine FM in 2007, we now have a range of courses focusing on the area of media & radio. It was in response to the huge demand for community focused media that we developed Sine FM, and since its launch, the popularity of the station as well as the community focused media training that surrounds it has rocketed.

Short, structured sessions provide the ideal starting point to help you decide the most appropriate progression route, as well as providing a solid foundation for your development. After this initial introduction to our services, you can then choose from a range of accredited courses to suit your interests and abilities, working in small groups towards your personal goals.

The benefit of studying media & radio related subjects at Sine FM (or Higher Rhythm) is that in doing so you are involved in a real world experience, connected directly to professional industry through a working radio station.

This is also how presenters, producers, researchers, support workers, volunteers etc... are sourced for Sine FM, therefore providing work based progression for trainees.
